MEET LISA BRENT, ND, LAC

My family roots are deeply grounded in western medicine and I grew up surrounded by medical professionals, including my maternal grandmother who became a nurse in 1934.

It was only natural that I chose to become a Naturopathic Doctor. My own passion for healing was ignited by my desire to understand the "why" behind illness and disease and how to utilize our bodies' natural abilities to heal itself. Naturopathic medicine brings together both the science and the art of  finding our way back to ideal health.

As we work together, we will integrate your health on all levels: physical, emotional and spiritual. This comprehensive approach will allow us to see you as a whole person, not just a mixture of separate systems. We will look beyond symptoms of disease and expose the underlying causes that keep you from optimal well-being.

Supporting Women's Naturopathic Health

We all have moments in life that bring clarity to our thoughts, beliefs, and practice. My personal experience with infertility was such a moment. At times, the process of trying to conceive a child was fraught with emotional pain and frustration. While I was committed to naturopathic medicine in my professional life, this experience exposed me to the importance of remaining open all forms of intervention. It was through an integrative approach to my own fertility issues that I became committed to helping women undergoing the same struggle.

Mid-Life and Beyond

Women at mid-life are often misunderstood as our biochemistry begins to change. I am convinced that naturopathic medicine has much to offer us at this pivotal stage of life — ensuring that we continue
to feel our best through mid-life and beyond.

Supporting You and Your Well-Being

While many of us share similar health concerns, there is no single, cookie-cutter approach to optimal health that works for all. My specialty as a Naturopathic Doctor is creating a customized treatment plan, which combines state-of-the-art diagnostic resources with the most effective treatment options from naturopathic and Chinese medicine.
